The 3d visuals for the models are amazing. They really help sell the look you guys are going for, though it's a bit difficult to notice all the detail you guys put in from that high up. I do feel like sometimes the screen and the enemy spawn side is blocked by the visuals of the tower selection but thats not a huge issue. I loved that you guys took the mobile game idea and went all in with dragging and dropping towers, taking advantage of the medium. Overall great job!
After seeing the trailer, I had to take a stab at being a part of the 1% of people who could beat this game (I actually had to borrow my roommate's android to play it). I loved the overall aesthetic of the game with the character designs, setting, and music. I think you guys really dove into the vibes and your passion for the project is felt since seeing it in its earlier stages. I think you guys really went far with developing the card system, it's all super cool!
I really liked the work you did on the characters with blender, it looks really good. The instructions are really clear once you start the game and the level progression is decent too. One thing I would say is that during the tutorial once you place the tower down, you're shown the instructions again and they kind of hide what is happening on the screen. It would be nice to have some sort of a delay in between so that we can actually see what placing the tower down does and how it interacts with the incoming enemies. It's a great game overall.
I like the amount of progress done on this game from the beta. There are much more assets and the gameplay was definitely much more fine-tuned. Before the enemies weren't even reaching the tower but now things are definitely better. In addition, the card system when dragging the towers onto the level is a really awesome addition that adds a level of intractability when playing the game. However, I couldn't beat level 4 so I give it a 0 out of 0. Overall it's job well done, and I hope you continue working on it more. (Kaya)
